I live near Lansing, Michigan. I love quilting and I want to share what I”m working on. I’m absolutely amazed that I can wander around to blogs and find people doing all the things I am interested in. I used to belong to a quilt guild before I had children. Out of a couple hundred quilters, there were only a handful who liked the same things I did. But with blogs, I can visit only the blogs that are similar to my interests.
Four years ago I began dying wool for my mom’s quilt shop, the Quilt House, in Indian River, Michigan. I loved it so much I began to sell it to shops around the country by mail. That was great fun. Unfortunately I landed a new job and started taking classes in pursuit of a degree and had to cut back to dying only for my mom’s shop. Recently I’ve found a little more time and have been able to get back into my sewing room a little bit.
